Itinerary

Upon arrival in Paro, clear customs and immigration. Keep your copy of the visa clearance letter handy. Meet your guide and driver outside the terminal building and transfer to Thimphu.

On the way to Thimphu, You will cross The iron chain bridge .

After your arrival in Thimphu, you will check-in at your hotel. You will relax & freshen up a bit, post which you will visit the following:-

National memorial chorten. The National Memorial Chorten is known as the ‘most visible religious landmark in Bhutan.

Early morning after breakfast you will be visit all the following places to see in and around Thimphu:-

-Buddha point

-Takin Zoo

-Sangaygang

-Changangkha Lhakhang

-TashiChoe Dzong

-Farmer Market

Post early breakfast, you will drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass. We will stop over for tea at Dochula (3,100 m), where on a sunny day, you can get stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. The Dochu La Pass is probably the best known mountain pass in Bhutan. Located at an altitude of 3150 meter above sea level, the Dochu La Pass is about 30 kilometer away from the capital city Thimphu and the road to Punakha.

After that will get to visit Punakha Dzong.

The Punakha Dzong is the second largest and the second oldest Dzong in Bhutan. It is also known for winter capital of Bhutan.

After early morning breakfast, we will take you for a morning hike up to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.

The Yulley Namgyal Chorten, lies approximate 7 kilometer north of Punakha. The Chorten is situated along a hill up the valley and can be reached after a leisurely hike through the woods and rice paddies

Later after hike you will visit Chimi Lhakhang. The monastery is also known as the temple of fertility and is visited not only by the Bhutanese but women from countries as far as Japan and United States to receive a special blessing that can help these women conceive children.

You will visit Sangchen Dorji Lhuendrup Monastery. It offers magnificent view of Punkha valley.

Post visiting above sightseeing You will drive towards Paro which is approximately 130KM.

After breakfast  you will visit:-

-Ta Dzong (National Museum)

-RimpungDzong

-Sangchen Choekhor monastery.

-Kichu Lhakhang.

-Drugyel Dzong

Today take you will hike up to Taktsang Monastery, also known as ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Hanging precariously and magically from a rather steep cliff, the Taktshang monastery is a monument of genuine pride for the Bhutanese nation.

In the evening you will be taken to visit local market of Paro to shop and to take home gifts, Bhutan offers a variety of goods that revolve mainly round textiles.

In the morning after early breakfast we will see you off at the Paro Airport for your onward destinations.

Payment Terms

  • The approval of tourists VISA is contingent on the full payment of the tour
  • Flight ticket payment is subject to the Ticketing Time Limit issued by the airlines

Tour Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • 30 to 15 days prior to arrival - 20% of the total tour cost will be levied as cancellation fee.
  • 14 to 7 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour cost will be levied as cancellation fee.
  • Less than a week prior to arrival - 100% cancellation charge will be levied as cancellation fee.

Flight Ticket Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Subject to the cancellation terms of the Airlines.

Rescheduling Tour Dates

  • There are no charges for rescheduling your trip. However the package cost may increase, hotel rates, airline charges are subject to change depending on your new travelling dates.
